Zolpidem
Zolpidem belongs to the class of sedative-hypnotics. This drug is specially intended for the treatment of insomnia. It will provide you with 7-8 hours of healthy sleep. Take Zolpidem before going to bed to fall asleep in 5-10 minutes. If you have been prescribed the extended-release tablets, you mustn’t crush them, as otherwise the medicine may be released too soon. The following medical conditions are supposed to be reported to your health care provider if you want to make sure the treatment will be as efficient at possible: bronchitis, emphysema, problem with heavy snoring, myasthenia gravis, depression, liver or kidney disease, sleep apnea, or asthma. You will also need to report any drugs you are using, such as seizure drugs, sertraline, cold or allergies medications, sedatives, pain medications, sleeping pills, antidepressants, mental illness drugs, tranquilizers, rifampin, or medications for anxiety. If you experience such psychological symptoms as new or worsening depression, hallucinations, memory problems, unusual behavior, aggressiveness, suicidal thoughts, confusion, or difficulty concentrating, make sure you let your doctor know about them as soon as possible for your treatment to go just as planned.
